The player has been under monitoring for the past two days and the medical staff has performed an ultrasound of the leg, stating that the player does not have any serious muscle damage. It seems that the muscle problem came from overexertion.

However, the presence of the Juventus midfielder on the field in the meeting against Australia is in doubt and coach Lionel Scaloni will decide on his activation only before the match. This challenge will be played on Saturday evening.
