Watch: Modric in history, but Croatia can’t go past Morocco
Morocco-Croatia, the first match for Group F of the World Cup taking place in Qatar, ended in a goalless draw despite the chances created by both teams.
The last World Cup finalists went close to scoring with Nikola Vlasic and Luka Modric, while the Moroccans threatened Livakovic’s goal with Achraf Hakimi and Mazraoui.
However, Real Madrid star Luka Modric can take solace in the fact that he has become the first player to play in a European and a World Cup in three different decades.
The other two teams of Group F are Belgium and Canada, who will face each other in the evening with the aim of getting the three points that would guarantee them the first place in the group.
Croatia will play their next match at the World Cup on November 27 against Canada, while the Moroccan national team will face Belgium on the same date.
