Muller: If this was my last game, you should know only one thing…

One of the most disappointing national teams in the World Cup taking place in Qatar has without a doubt been Hansi Flick’s Germany.

The four-time World Champions have been eliminated in the group stage at the second World Cup in a row after the triumph achieved eight years ago in Brazil.

The midfielder of the Germans, Thomas Muller, has commented on the failure of his national team after the 4-2 victory over Costa Rica in the last match of Group E, but that it did not serve to avoid the elimination.

“If this was my last match with Germany, you should know that I always played with love. We spent many wonderful moments together. Thank you for everything,” said Muller.

The 33-year-old striker of Bayern Munich has played 121 games with his representative, scoring 44 goals and becoming world champion in Brazil 2014.
