Here are the highest paid riders in MotoGP, the world champion outside the podium

The Italian rider Francesco Bagnaia was crowned the first-ever world champion of riders during the 2022 MotoGP season, lowering the bar. The Ducati rider does not, however, earn the most money in the MotoGP division.

Honda’s Spaniard Marc Marquez is at the top of the list with 14 million euros, and is followed by his countryman Maverick Vinales (Aprilia). Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo, a Frenchman, is in third place.

With 4.3 million euros in annual earnings, Bagnaia sits fifth with Ducati, behind former champion Joan Mir of Spain and Suzuki. Ral Fernandez and Remy Gardner, who both earn 250 thousand euros per season, are the MotoGP drivers who receive the lowest salaries.
